Introduction:

Cheng Zhao obtained his PhD at Department of Physics, Tsinghua University in 2018. Before joining Department of Astronomy at Tsinghua University in May 2023, he worked as a postdoc at École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland. He is mainly engaged in the study of large-scale structures of the Universe based on large-scale galaxy surveys and high-fidelity cosmological simulations. He has participated in a series of state-of-art large-scale spectroscopic surveys, such as the Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (BOSS), the extended Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (eBOSS), and the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI), and undertaken a number of research projects covering numerical simulations, theoretical modelling, data processing, and cosmological measurements. Currently, his research interests include: (1) multi-probe and multi-tracer cosmological parameter constraints, (2) constructions of high-fidelity cosmological simulations for spectroscopic surveys, and (3) developments of high-efficiency and high-reliability cosmological data processing and numerical analysis algorithms.
