Introduction:

Dr. Hui Li is a computational astrophysicist focusing on modeling star and galaxy formation using supercomputers. He was a Hubble fellow at Columbia and MIT. He obtained his PhD at the University of Michigan. He got his BS from Nanjing University. Hui is leading and participating several star/galaxy simulation collaborations, such as IllustrisTNG, SMUGGLE, Thesan, and Starforge. He has broad research interests include galaxy formation, evolution of giant molecular clouds and formation of most massive star clusters, origin of globular clusters in different types of galaxies, stellar dynamics of globular clusters, etc.
