The Department of Astronomy at Tsinghua University held a one-day workshop on November 15, 2023 focused on galaxy formation and cosmology. The event was part of the National Natural Science Foundation's Innovative Research Group project on "Galactic Structure, Formation, and Evolution." Attendees included Mr. He Cheng, Director of the National Natural Science Foundation's Division of Astronomy, eight external experts, as well as faculty and students from the Department of Astronomy. Presentations were given by participants to report on the latest progress and promote scientific discussion.
