2019 DoA and THCA Welcome Party
The Department of Astronomy, Tsinghua University held "2019 DoA and THCA Welcome Party" on 22 Aug 2019. New coming graduate students and postdocs, senior student representatives as well as the THCA faculty members participated.
The Welcome Party began with a brief introduction of DoA and THCA by Professor Hua Feng, the associate head of DoA, followed by a speech given by Professor Shude Mao, the head of DoA, who expressed warm welcome to the new students and staffs. New faculty members Chris Ormel and Zheng Cai, 15 new graduate students, and 4 new postdocs introduced themselves. Senior student representatives shared their experiences about studies and lives at DoA.
