Introduction:
Dongzi Li joined the Department of Astronomy at Tsinghua University in 2025. Prior to that, she worked as an independent postdoctoral fellow at Princeton (Lyman Spitzer, Jr. Fellow) and California Institute of Technology (Sherman Fairchild Physics Prize Fellow). Dongzi Li received his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto in 2021.
Dongzi Li works on the theory, observation, and modeling of radio transients, such as Fast Radio Bursts (FRBs) and pulsars. She also use radio sources to probe the cosmic matter distribution and magnetic structures. In the past few years, she discovered the first periodic FRB, providing insights into the evolution and internal structure of the source. She pioneered the modeling of active magneto-environments using radio transients, advancing our understanding of their evolution. She is a member of the CHIME/FRB collaboration and the FAST key project.
