Introduction:
Dongzi Li works on the theory, observation, and modeling of radio transients, such as Fast Radio Bursts (FRBs) and pulsars. She also use radio sources to probe the cosmic matter distribution and magnetic structures. In the past few years, she has discovered the first periodic FRB (Nature 582,351), providing insights into the evolution and internal structure of the source. She pioneered the modeling of active magneto-environments using radio transients (Nature 618,484), advancing our understanding of their evolution. She is a member of the CHIME/FRB collaboration and the FAST key project.
Before joining Tsinghua University, Dongzi Li is a Lyman Spitzer Jr. Postdoctoral Fellow at Princeton 2023-2025, and a Sherman Fairchild Postdoc Fellow at Caltech 2020-2023. Dongzi Li obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Toronto.
